In a world that has a lot of distractions, it's good to know that we have options when it comes to choosing peace. Everyday our minds can overflow with a never ending list of things to do. But finding time to sit and be still is vital to find the rest that our mind, body, and our soul needs to find peace. The beginning of the year is a great time to lean into the routines and systems in our lives that bring us the most peace. No matter what distractions comes our way we can choose to reset our hearts and minds on what matters. For me that is where lasting peace is found. It is found in the simplicity of returning back to the path that God has placed me on. This practice of keeping our eyes on the One who matters the most enables us to ignore the distractions and help us find contentment, true peace, and lasting joy in our everyday lives. I invite you to keep choosing peace by incorporating small yet meaningful practices into your daily routine. These small yet mighty practices can help you find and maintain your peace as you progress through this coming year.
