Practice kindness and patience. It's a tough job to do everyday.
2. Practice Tolerance and it should be mutual.
3. Get to know them as people. They are human with feelings just like you. They are someone's mother, father, sister, or brother. They are a leaders in their field.
4. They are specialist in their field so respect is key. Be sure to relevant questions to improve the quality of service or care.
5. Teach our children to honor and respect them as well. They are doing a service that is vital to our neighborhoods, communities, and our world.
6. When in doubt don't be afraid to ask clarifying questions or have someone take you by the hand to assist you.
7. Smile. Smiling and treating others well unlocks a lot of doors and people tend to respond to it even when they are having a rough day. You may be the only act of kindness they see all day.
Service jobs are tough but if we all work together to honor others as we would like to be treated we can make a small but significant difference in someones else's life today.
