National Mall in Washington D.C.

Updated: Mar 21, 2022

One of my favorite things to do is visiting the national mall. I love seeing history first hand and there is nothing like it. My family and I usually visit a couple times a year and it is such a grounding experience. This is something that I have done since visiting Washington D.C. for the first time as a college student. There is so much to do and the best thing is that most of the experiences are low cost and family friendly. I usually like to stand on my "sweet spots." I often feel like a kid in an educational candy store. I like to stand in the middle points between the U.S. Capital and the Washington monument and the middle point between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln memorial. The White House, Dr. King's Memorial, and the World War Memorials are a relatively short distance away from the Washington Monument. I honestly haven't found one thing about the National Mall that I don't truly enjoy.

I will be adding more photos and fun memories that I have had obtained over the years and will upload them to this post and on my blog. I am looking forward to sharing some of my favorite places and some of my personal and professional experiences. Please check back regularly.

Peace, Love, and Joy.
