Lessons I Learned from Queen Elizabeth's Life

(Wix pic)

Yesterday I was sadden to hear about the passing of Queen Elizabeth at the age of 96. I wanted to write a tribute to celebrate her remarkable legacy. As a women today it is sometimes hard to find people of outstanding character and for me she is a great example of faithfulness and for this I give glory to God for her long lasting legacy of excellence. She indirectly taught me seven important key concepts.

  1. Queen Elizabeth was known to often say the phrase, "This too shall pass" during difficult times. This phrase is a great reminder that difficult times do come but in time they do fade away so keep standing and moving forward.

  2. Queen Elizabeth prayed on her knees before bed. I love this idea that if this powerful women can kneel before God and put her trust in Him so can I.

  3. Everything that we say and do we represents God and our loved ones. Keeping your peace and be careful what you say and do can keep us out of trouble. I learned that your opinion isn't always required sometimes it is okay to let time, life, and God do the talking. Just focus on doing good to everyone.

  4. Faith, family, duty, and faithfulness to your responsibilities are keys to a successful life. A life of faithful service is invaluable.

  5. Money isn't everything, it doesn't hurt to have and it is nice. But everyone has immense struggles in life no matter where they reign so shine bright.

  6. You can rise above your family history, personal challenges, negative perceptions, and haters.

  7. Having class is important and leaves a lasting legacy. Keep doing good, keep standing for greatness, keep running your race, and let God sort out the rest.

Queen Elizabeth, thank you for the life lessons you taught us. You will definitely be missed. You were one fabulous Lady. May you find everlasting peace in a life well-lived.
