Favorite Faith Concerts

I absolutely adore attending Faith Concerts. It's so exhilarating and so much fun of course. This is my highlight reel and they are not in any particular order.

  1. Third Day (Unbelievable)

  2. Lauren Daigle (2 times)

  3. Big Daddy Weave and Plum

  4. Jesus Culture

  5. CeCe Winans (3 times)

  6. Danny Gokey

  7. Hannah Kerr

  8. Hillsong United

They were absolutely amazing. I know there are some upcoming ones in April and May in DMV. I believe King and Country in April and Phil Wickham in May.*

I also went to a few that weren't which ended up being amazing as well. I loved attending Stevie Wonder's concert and Charlie Wilson's concert featuring Fantasia. I loved when Charlie and Fantasia threw in a faith set. I got to boggie and the faith performances lit up the Capital One Arena formerly known as the Verizon center. As I said previously in a post I adored the Alicia Keys, Colbie Calliet/Gavin Degraw, and Janet Jackson concerts I attended as well. My ultimate was seeing the Buffalo group Goo Goo Dolls live in Buffalo, New York during a torrential rainstorm while attending graduate school. It was right in front of Downtown City Hall. Completely amazing that I bought the dvd of it to remember it. One of my BEST CONCERTS EVER! I also attended a Queen concert and surprisedly had a good time...lol. I should have known since one of their songs was a theme song for the Buffalo Bills.

I have also seen Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre Company (Completely AWESOME) when they came a few times I believe to the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC with my Kamoche ladies. I have also seen Black Dallas Dance Theatre when they came to the town of Bladensburg at the Publick Playhouse once or twice. I have had lots of good times dancing and shouting and slapping my leg especially when they did gospel renditions. Very transformative and beautiful.* An absolutely don't want to miss tribute to the good ole days. I also saw some plays at the Publick Playhouse attending as a teacher, big sister, and as an auntie and daughter.

I have attend a handful of Symphony Orchestra performances at the Kennedy Center and in Baltimore and attended a Nancy Wilson concert in Buffalo.* Absolutely remarkable got to put it on your bucket list, if you haven't.
