The devil likes to work overtime to stop God's people from receiving the blessings of Abraham. The Blood of Jesus reigns supreme and always wins out no matter what. That's what I love about the crucifixion of Jesus. He was slain, but Jesus rose again. You can't keep a good man down. Amen. Jesus is our living water our maji. He conquered death and He has defeated it time and time again. I love the biblical story of Jesus walking on the water. It is a timeless story of His amazing love and His amazing grace.
The following Bible Gateway excerpt is from Matthew 14:22-31 from the King James Version.
Chapter 14
22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Did you catch the word immediately? Jesus immediately stretched forth his hand and caught Peter and spoke life and faith to him. When we call out to Jesus, He immediately hears us. You are seen by the Creator of the Universe and the Savior of the Lord. You are not forgotten. You are not alone. Therefore, keep telling the stories of Jesus. Keep telling your testimonies. Your personal experiences are your biblical connections to God's word. The power of your testimony edifies you. When you speak you are allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to strengthen you, encourage you, enrich you, and renew you. Just like Jesus did. Just like Jesus does today and tomorrow and forevermore. May God's blessings continue to be upon you. May His light, love, and protection guide you as you continue to draw near to Him each and every day. In Jesus Name, I humbly pray. Amen.
