Math Connection:
1. We counted paper green shamrocks (1-5) and pretended to search for gold like a leprechaun.
2. 5 green and speckled frogs music link (5, 4, 3,2, 1 none)
She went around and showed us her gold wrapped box. Inside were gold treasures like gold bar, rubber duck, and etc. She had the children look at them as she passed by them.
Home Connection: Free Choice Paper Bag Activity (Will upload a pic later of completed look.) Materials needed: 4 mini cotton balls, 1/2 paper plate for rainbow, small shamrocks, and 3 strings. Have students color the rainbow. Cut out the paper green shamrocks, and glue and attached the string to the paper plate and attach the shamrocks and cotton balls as they wish.
