Disclaimer: I love my life and my family but I spend a lot of time laughing at the parallels between being a SAHM and being a public school educator. One gets paid and has union breaks and vacations while the other one gains sainthood in the after life.

Prayer of the Day for today is based on James 4:3a

Ye ask, and receive not, because you don't ask right, so keep asking and keep praying until the good Lord hears and answers you. Keep emailing and keep texting your prayer requests to your prayer teams and your leaders. Keep on pressing forward toward the mark of the high calling and continue to run your race with endurance and excellence. No matter what you do, don't give up. God loves a cheerful giver so keep giving and giving and giving cheerfully.

Dear Merciful Lord,

Please have mercy on all mothers.

Whether they carry the official title or not.

Give them the strength to say No when it's their turn to shine and say Yes when it's not.

May You greatly bless all Women Everywhere Everyday especially today.

Show us this month how to SHINE loudly, softly, or in-between.

Help all the men in our lives to feel more compassionate and have more pity.

Help the overachieving dads to stay amazing and help the dads who are underperforming to continue to look like schmucks.

Please have fathers and husband everywhere volunteer to cook more dinners, take out the trash more often, and take the kids to church, library, and to the park so Mama Bears around the world can get some much needed rest, self care, and more inspirational breaks.

We sincerely love you and treasure you Almighty God, thank you for being merciful. In Jesus name Amen. Amen. Amen.

Happy Women's Month!
