How can we make room for goodness in our lives on a daily basis? There are so many things in this world that we don't control and there are so many things that we do control. Knowing the difference is key. As a Christian that can look very different from person to person. But ultimately we are given the tools for having a relationship with our Savior and with others. I love that Christ was a carpenter and he used his hands to work, teach, and to serve others. Yet, He often went away to find strength and clarity. When I set time aside daily I often find myself wrestling with a situation and eventually whispering a prayer, humming a tune, and finally giving thanks. When we give thanks in all that we do and do it with a thankful heart it becomes an act of worship. In this simple act we are making room for goodness in small yet meaningful ways. This daily practice of being intentional and setting time aside to be grateful is essential to making space in our lives for God's goodness.
1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love.
